My relationship with running began on elementary cross-country courses, eventually serving as the engine for competitive soccer and hockey careers. However, it was in my early thirties that I truly found my stride in distance and trail running. For me, the trails are a vital space for physical and mental well-being.
As a high school teacher by profession and a coach by calling, I bring a pedagogical approach to endurance sports. I hold a certificate in Coaching the Endurance Events from ALTIS and serve as the Board Secretary for Run for Life Inc., a Yukon-based non-profit dedicated to accessible fitness and UN Sustainable Development Goals.
From racing across North America to trekking iconic routes like the Tour du Mont Blanc and Laugavegur (to name a couple), my global movement experiences inform every training plan I write. I am dedicated to helping athletes reach their performance peaks while fostering a profound, transformative connection with the great outdoors.
