My running journey began with high school cross country, initially as a way to stay fit for other sports. What began as simple conditioning quickly grew into a lasting passion; combined with a deep interest in data and problem-solving, it fueled a curiosity about performance that pushed me to explore my personal limits and pursue a certification in endurance running. I've now spent more than a decade coaching athletes from 5k road races to 100k ultra trail races.
I’ve been fortunate to train with and learn from many exceptional runners and coaches over the years. My own racing experiences span everything from short road races up to 50-mile trail events, with podium finishes across distances, including winning the Canadian Masters Marathon Championship at the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in 2018. Alongside the successes, some of my greatest growth has come from races that didn’t unfold as planned, shaping how I reflect, adapt, and apply those lessons to better support the athletes I coach.
I’m passionate about the running community and the shared journey that connects us. I believe progress comes not only from chasing goals, but from enjoying the process and learning along the way. My goal is to help runners of all abilities discover their potential, build confidence, and find lasting fulfillment through the sport one step at a time.
