Thank you for registering for the Pasture Dash XC race!
This is a fun community event designed to bring together friends for a good ol' time in support of the rare Charitable Research Reserve. We appreciate you bringing all the positive vibes to the countryside (ahem, cow costumes?). Please be supportive and respectful of each other and our venue.
Check out the map at the bottom of this page as reference to the details described below.
Parking is available along the brewery's LANEWAY where race volunteers will help with vehicle organization. Additional parking is available in the pasture to the opposite of the race site and on Reidsville Road. If parking on the road, we ask that you park on the side of the road that is closest to the town of Ayr (right side if coming from Wrigley Road).
Once parked, make your way down the brewery's LANEWAY towards the registration tent where race volunteers will check you in and supply you with your race bib, safety pins, and race mementos (in lieu of finish line medals).
Port-a-potties will be available for all your pre and post race needs. They are located towards the Start/Finish.
Arman from Disko Coffee will be slinging brews for your early-morning caffeine fix. Cash only.
NEW RACE ROUTE!
This year's race will proceed in the opposite direction (counter-clockwise) compared to previous years.
The route consists of a 2.5km loop that 5km runners will complete twice and 10km runners will complete 4 times, all in the same direction. Runners must stay within the bounds of all defined lane ways. These will be marked by ribbon and rope along with some pin flags. Failing to follow the race route as laid out will result in automatic disqualification.
This is a cupless race. Water will be available for you near the Start/Finish to refill your own bottle. No other nutrition will be provided.
STAGGERED 5k / 10k START
This is the first year that Pasture Dash is hosting two race distances. To avoid congestion on the start line, the 5km race will begin before the 10km race. Marshalls will be at the start with a dividing line to help with organization, but it is up to you to be in the correct corrall according to the race distance for which you registered.
